Reverse Decoupage Glass Plate :

I am Manisha Gidia back again today to show some simple steps to upcycle a glass plate into beautiful home decor.

Things Needed :

• Plain Glass Plate
• Stand
• Nakshathra Designz Decoupage Paper - Floral Design 2
• Decoupage Glue
• Black Chalk Paint
• Yellow Chalk Paint
• Brush
• Sponge
• Waterbase Varnish

Let's look into the steps on how to create this glass plate into a home decor piece.

Step- 1  

First, we select the paper we want to decorate the glass plate with. Next, we cut the paper according to the design we want on the plate.

Step- 2

Place the cut pieces in the design required and paste them using Decoupage Glue on the backside of the plate. Keep the plate aside to dry completely.

Step- 3

Sprinkle yellow paint on the backside of the plate using a brush and let it dry.

Step- 4

After the yellow paint dries completely, apply one coat of Black Chalk Paint using a sponge. After it dries completely apply another coat to give a complete finish. Keep it aside to dry completely.

Step- 5

After the paint dries completely apply a coat of Aquador Waterbase Varnish. After the first coat dries completely apply another coat using a brush.

Step- 6

Now the glass plate is ready to adore aesthetically any corner of your house.
