Once again, I am Priyanka Srivastava here and this time I have made a small, itty bitty box for keepsakes which can be easily made and gifted to your loved ones.
Here I have used Nakshathra Designz's Decoupage Paper Mosaic Love-2. The geometric pattern made a lovely design on the box.
I have taken a MDF box of dimensions 3" x 3" x 2" and I have covered the entire inside of the box and it's lid with the yellow colour which is a shade darker than the yellow in the decoupage paper.
I have then used the paper to cover the entire lid top and all the 4 sides of the box using mod podge while making sure that there are no air bubbles trapped in doing so. I used another layer of mod podge on top to seal the paper.
I then covered the bottom of the box with black paint and gave a little distressing on the edges of the box with it too.
When the paint dried completely, I gave a coat of varnish to seal the entire project.
Such a small decoupaged box will look really pretty on a dressing table or a study table. Since the design of this decoupage paper is geometric, it will work perfect to make a unisex project which will appeal to any and every gender.
