Favor Boxes-DT post-Kriti Mishra

Namaste!
Hope you all are doing well.
This is me Kriti Mishra.
Today I am sharing my next DT project for Nakshathra Designz.
Festivals are on their way so why not add happiness to the auspicious occasion of Diwali by sending your good wishes through beautiful treat boxes. A perfect way to bring a smile on your loved one's face, these boxes are sure to make the day extra special for your loved ones.

These boxes are really good for filling chocolates, dry fruits, mini favours and what ever you feel like. Aren’t they so colourful and sweet.
I have used beautiful pattern papers  Sparkling Diwali from Nakshathra Designz. These papers are 220 gsm, which is very good for making boxes and makes them sturdy. I have fussy cut some embellishments from the sheet to give a nice look to these boxes.

First Box:

Take a pattern paper of size 6" x 6". Score at 1", 2.5", 3.5" and 5". Now rotate by 90° and score at 1" and 5". Fold all the score lines.

Now cut like as shown in the picture.

Now put glue on all the six 1" square.

Now start pasting these on the opposite sides and this process will make the bottom of the box.

Repeat same process for the lid of the box .

And here is the box. Isn't it cute.

Second Box
Take a cardstock of size 10-7/8" x 6". Score on the long side at 7/8", 1-7/8", 5-3/8", 6-3/8" and 9-7/8". Score on the short side at 1" and 5". Fold all the score lines.

Cut two squares on the top as shown in the picture.

Now cut the tabs as shown in the picture with a little notch.

Make a whole on the lid to put a ribbon. Now put glue on all the small tabs and attach.
