Decoupaged Bird House

Hello Friends,

This is me Amisha again how are you all doing on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Here i am with another beautiful project Bird House and in here i have used three amazing papers from Nakshathra Designz Wooden Texture, Birds, and leaves on faux pallet papers.

Decoupage on POP Carving- DT post by Blessy Priya

Good Day Crafty Friends!!!

I’m  very happy to be back on Nakshathra Desingz blog. Did you all check the awesome November release? Lovely designed Decoupage papers. I would like to share the tutorial of the project I made using the Nakshathra Desingz  decoupage paper.

1. Made a paste of Plaster of Paris with water and poured it in a plate with raised edge and allowed it to dry. Once that is completely dry, reversed the plate and tapped off the POP. You’ll have a smooth plank of POP.

2. Drew two birds and craved them on the POP.

3. Colored it using alcohol ink and stuck the leaves and flower cut out of the Nakshathra decoupage paper using decoupage glue. 

4. Distressed the edge using gold acrylic paint. Added sentiments, flowers and metal embellishments.
