Nakshathra Designz: Royal Treasure Box

Pretty is an accident of nature. Elegant is a self - created work of art.

Recycling turns things into other things.which is like magic. old and waste chocolate boxes got a new make over now I called them my" Royal Treasure Box". If you also wanna make your own Royal box , please follow these steps.

Royal Treasure Box

Material Required-:

Base ( I am using old chocolate boxes)
Traditional pattern papers from Nakshatra Design.
Acrylic ,mattalic colors
Gesso
Texture paste
Decoupage glue and varnish
Flat brush and sponge
Sand paper

Steps-:

Base coat the box with white gesso.Base coat ensures that the colors of your paper remain bright.
Choose a paper of your choice. Cut out the part you would like to use. I chose. Pattern paper from Nakshatra Designz. Now hold the paper very carefully and start applying glue in one direction.you can use your fingers to remove wrinkles and bubbles from your paper.
Once all your paper and base glued down,keep it aside for drying.use sand paper to remove extra paper hanging off the surface.
In this project I used texture paste to give a beautiful rustic effect on my box.

On the lower part i gave color effect with the help of stencil.
After that give 1-2 coats of decoupage glue on your box.you can also use varnish to make your box more secure and waterproof.
With these simple steps you can also make your Royal Treasure Box.all materials are available in local market and you buy all the materials online too.
