Mini Album Quick Tutorial

Hello people.

Chirali here with a quick tutorial on a mini album and it's box with Classic Black and White paper pad. Yes, as it's name suggests, an album will be completely black and white. What one can do with black and white papers? The very question came on my mind as I am used to be a very colourful kinda thinker so I hope you like it.

Let's have a look at final mini album before starting with tutorial:

Here is the tutorial:

Take 6 thick white (or black) cardstock measuring 5.25"x5.25"  and 5 same coloured cardstock measuring 1.25"x1.25" (For spine).

Score the cutouts for spine at 0.5" and 0.75", glue it on 0.5" sides as shown in image and adhere it between to papers, leaving 0.25" gap between pages.

Adhere all the pages together which will result like below image.

Now measure the spine and take a paper with 1" extra on both sides, score the spine area on that paper at distance of 0.25" and fold it in a round shape and adhere the non-scored 1" portion to front and back of the album and raw albumis ready.

Now take 12 5"x5" Classic Black and White papers and decorate as you like and stick them to the album. I have adhered only three sides of each page so that i can add tags in main pages. Every left age has left side tag puller and right page has top side. Here are my ready pages. I decorated front and back pages lastly.

I made an explosion box to store this album which is also made from same paper pack. Sorry for not having the tutorial on the same.

So here is the final box with the album:

I have kept the box and box cover simple.

Inside of the box is yet to be decorated a little. The tower in the centre holds the album with magnet.

For spine, take a paper a little bit smaller than spine size and score the same way we scored spine i.e. at 0.25".

Here is the video to the journey of whole project.

Hope you enjoyed it. Do leave feedback.
