Jungle Party theme - Birthday favor bag tutorial - DT Daksha

Hello! Friends
In my last DT inspiration post I have made 'Jungle party' theme -birthday  invite card....in that line of thought only...this time I have made birthday party gift bag /favor bag...using Nakshathra designs 'jungle party' pattern papers

Here is the tutorial:

#1.You need 2 PCs of 12"*12" cardstock or pattern papers. Here I have used 2 pcs of kraft card stock and did layering with nakshathra jungle party pattern papers.
#2. Score at 2" & 10" on one side ,flip n on other side sore at 2"...do this on both 12"*12" sheet...as show in pic bellow..
#3. In one sheet cut 2" square on bottom both side.
#4. In 2nd sheet snip the cut mark..as we do it for boxes..and glue that part..
#5. Now insert 1st part of bag inside the 2 nd part...it will fit properly.. Glue that part n your bag is ready..
#6. Put ribbon handles..and finally decorate it with tag, sentiment, and buttons.
Thanks for stopping by..love to see your comments..
Love n hugs
Daksha

Jungle Party House-DT post by Chirali Shah

Hello People.

Chirali here with my very first post for Nakshthra Designz and yes, I am very much excited (Ofcourse ;)). As it's my first, it has to be different, special and full of fun. And the papers of Nakshthra Designz are meant to provide fun while using them. I must tell you I enjoyed like never before while making this project. Madagascar was continuously over my mind. Now you must know the paper pack, yes, it's Jungle Party.

So here is my take on this patterned paper, The Jungle Party House.

The overall look:

I have made a cart house which I dream to have to take it anywhere I go ;).

Some detailing with my mind on them:

The closer look of front:

A cub looking at it's tail curiously and a smiling calf and a Party Time flag with a bird on it. So so cute.

A jungle party sign with a confused monkey and a little butterfly on it surrounded by a deer and a zebra waiting for the door opening.

How can a jungle house be decorated if not flowers? So here is a hanging flower basket with a flying bird which is going to land soon.

There are three doors to enter the house, front and back and top. Top one is for monkeys, obviously, so there is a monkey trying to enter the house with a flag of Celebration.

The back.

So here are the doors, front..

back..,

and the top.

How can I forget the sun flower carpet!!

This house can contain so many goodies in it and it can be used as an album keepsake or anything. There is a space of  6"x9"x6". Height's measurement is relative as it's rounded.

So this is it. I loved making it and I hope you enjoyed it and became a kid for a while. :)
