Traditional keep sake box - DT post by Anindita Bose

Hi crafty friends

Here I'm am back on blog with traditional keep sake box using beautiful Mandala design decoupage paper and cordinating with festive mandala design stencil by Nakshtra designz from newly launchedrange of stencils.

Here I used mdf box of 9"×6.5"×2.5" dimensions. The layer was to prime the surface with gesso. 

For the next step i used modge podge matte to glue the paper. Since the paper had vibrant colours of orange and yellow i used chalk paints from Little birdie to go with it.  

The inside upper top part of the box used the festive Mandela design stencil to go with the design on top.

I loved working with these paper and the newly launched stencil designs just goes well it. So used the stencil on the lower part of box to coordinate with decoupage paper design.
