Hello Everyone…

A brief about myself..

My name is Anusha Vamsee, based out of Chennai. I am a working mom of two kids…I have been a passionate crafter since my childhood days… However my husband helped me discover the serious crafter in me 5 years ago… I have always enjoyed making handmade cards/ gift boxes for my loved ones..
Today crafting is a little more than just a hobby for me.. It is my source of relaxation and rejuvenation.. I love card-making, scrapbooking and making party favors. I love to experiment with paper and explore new techniques in crafting.. And I try to indulge myself in this passion whenever I get some time…. Or sometimes make time for the same… I am extremely happy and honored to be guest designing for Nakshathra designs… Thanks a lot Akshma for the opportunity..

So here I am to share my first project..

I wanted to make something unique, other than cards or scrapbooks… and when I saw these beautiful papers in “Amor De Oro-Golden Love” paper pack from Nakshathra designs…thought it is ideal to make something personal for your loved ones…. The color combination is very good for making even masculine stuff… So I thought of making this watch box for my husband….

The papers were so good… it was sturdy and with a couple of layers… added the needed sturdiness for a watch box…. Also made a big pillow with sponge to store the watches…

Embellished it with mdf clocks, dabbed with perfect pearls, antique charms and mulberry roses, to give it a vintage love affair look…
